She feels at ease in the practice since the very beginning. From being a permanent patient Lany has soon become a steady member of the team. Our elderly tomcat James had adopted her and became her foster father. When James was our overseer and sometimes comforter in the practice then Lany is our entertainer, bubbling over with high spirits and energy. She remained walking impaired and still needs help to empty the bladder, however, her neurologic condition is still – even though slowly – improving. She is a magnificent role model in how she is dealing with her destiny. After the passing of our tomcat James Lany inherits him and his role being a reference of Veterinary Practice Schwarzspanierhof (see also: „this was our tomcat James“).
